I was born in Barcelona and have lived in the UK for many years now. I'm a writer, translator (English-Spanish and vice-versa) and I'm a medical doctor and worked in Forensic Psychiatry many years. I also have a BA and a PhD in American Literature and Film, and a Masters in Criminology. I've always loved books and apart from writing them I review them often. I write a bit of everything, check my books for more information and my about page for links. My blog is bilingual, English and Spanish.

Wow, riveting reviews here Olga. I’m friends with Sue and have both these books on my reader and told Sue the only problem is I’m a scaredy cat and usually read in the wee hours of the night, but I’m so curious to read. Sue suggested I read at the beach, lol. 🙂

    1. She might have a point, Debby! Not for the faint-hearted reader but very intriguing… 😉

  2. I am sure these will attract many fans. The genre has been popular for decades now, and those readers lap up new titles.
    Best wishes, Pete.

    1. Yes, you’re right. I’m sure it will have many readers. Thanks, Pete.

  3. Thank you, Olga! I’m thrilled you’re enjoying the series thus far. Love, love, love your reviews!

    1. Thanks, Sue! I’m not sure I’d dare to read two back-to-back again! 🙂

  4. You are a busy woman, Olga! Thanks for this double review. Sue’s website sounds really interesting too. Wishing her the best with these books. Hugs all around.

    1. Thanks, Teagan. I won’t have time to share more reviews this book but I have a few left yet and hope to be sharing more next week. Have a great week!

  5. Very enjoyable reviews of these two books, Olga. I must say that I don’t read this kind of book as I am very affected by these types of murder stories but my Mom loves them so I am thrilled to have two books to recommend to her.

    1. Thanks, Robbie. I completely understand. Some people can’t bear them and others can’t get enough of them. Sue has a very interesting take on the genre and I’m sure your mother will be pleased with the recommendation.

  6. Captivating reviews, Olga. I don’t know how you do it all and you do it all so well. Thanks for the introduction to Sue Coletta and her books.

    1. Thanks, Vashti. I wish I had more time. I must say after reading one of Sue’s books I couldn’t resist to read more of them and I had read great reviews of Marred. I try to resist, but I guess not hard enough…

Don't be shy! Tell me something!
