I was born in Barcelona and have lived in the UK for many years now. I’m a writer, translator (English-Spanish and vice-versa) and I’m a medical doctor and worked in Forensic Psychiatry many years. I also have a BA and a PhD in American Literature and Film, and a Masters in Criminology. I’ve always loved books and apart from writing them I review them often.
I write a bit of everything, check my books for more information and my about page for links.
My blog is bilingual, English and Spanish.

  1. Sounds brilliant and right up my street. I am going to order this one straight away. Thanks Olga.

    1. Thank you, Robbie. I think it should be available in most places by now, although perhaps not in all formats. I hope you enjoy it. 🙂

  2. I am intrigued that this is written in the 18th century style. Not sure if that would work against it for me, or perhaps make it enjoyably different. Francis has certainly racked up an impressive number of awards, and some stellar reviews.
He must be doing something right.
    Best wishes, Pete.

    1. Thanks, Pete. It is worth having a look at the sample of his book to see how you feel about the narrator (I like the style, for sure). I am also intrigued by the author’s non-fiction and his book about childhood reading made me think of Teagan and your comments… Have a good Wednesday!

      1. I knew I was right about you writing a book about books! 🙂 x

        1. Pete, you are always right, in my humble experience. I will try and get a copy of his book on reading too. This project could keep us going forever. Perhaps a series of posts…

          1. 🙂

    1. I thought you would appreciate it, Sarah. I think you’ll love the sense of place. Oh, and there’s a performance and a discussion of acting that I’m sure you’ll love. 🙂

Don't be shy! Tell me something!
