I was born in Barcelona and have lived in the UK for many years now. I'm a writer, translator (English-Spanish and vice-versa) and I'm a medical doctor and worked in Forensic Psychiatry many years. I also have a BA and a PhD in American Literature and Film, and a Masters in Criminology. I've always loved books and apart from writing them I review them often. I write a bit of everything, check my books for more information and my about page for links. My blog is bilingual, English and Spanish.

  1. As you know, I enjoy a good short story, as well as writing them myself. This sounds like a good one, and I wish Danielle every success.
    Best wishes, Pete.

    1. Thanks, Pete. Indeed, I love your stories. I hope you had a good break. Have a great week.

  2. Good morning, Olga.
I’m intrigued — on the whole. Maybe it shows that I still don’t know that much about “indie” but I’m rather mystified that there would be so much going on for a short story. I don’t mean that in a negative way at all though. The cover is gorgeous, and the trailer is great for horror. The story itself sounds wonderful.
It’s just having all that for a story that is too short to get to know the characters… Maybe I just need a second cup of coffee.
It does tell me that the author is proud of her work, and that is sincerely a good thing.
    Good luck to Danielle.
    Have a wonderful new week.
    Off to Mordor now. Hugs!

Yes, I guess it depends on how much expectation you want to create and on the following you can count on.It’s true that if one doesn’t make a fuss, nobody is going to do it for us. I hope Mordor behaves. Take care.

  3. That sounds like a book made for me: short and good!

    1. Very, very short, Erika. It’s a short story. Have a great week!

      1. How many pages does it have? I was looking for it.

        1. No idea. I read it in e-book format. 14 pages, according to Amazon.

          1. Oh, that really sounds like a book for me…. haha!

          2. Well, thinking about it, it’s probably shorter than that, as I imagine they count the pages with the links and information about the author. Have a lovely Tuesday!

          3. Haha… that’s really funny. It already sounds like a longer post… lol! Have a nice evening, Olga!

          4. You too!

  4. This sounds like a very interesting and chilling book, Olga. Great review.

    1. Thanks, Robbie. It’s really a short-short-story so if you fancy a very brief read… Have a great weekend!

Don't be shy! Tell me something!
