I was born in Barcelona and have lived in the UK for many years now. I'm a writer, translator (English-Spanish and vice-versa) and I'm a medical doctor and worked in Forensic Psychiatry many years. I also have a BA and a PhD in American Literature and Film, and a Masters in Criminology. I've always loved books and apart from writing them I review them often. I write a bit of everything, check my books for more information and my about page for links. My blog is bilingual, English and Spanish.

Ooh, looks like another book to add to my TBR. Love the colors in the cover. And I see you changed the theme of your website Olga? 🙂

    1. Thanks, Debby. I’ve been lucky to have read it already and I’ll share the review closer to the time of release (it’s great, but my lips are sealed!) I agree about the cover. It is gorgeous, I agree, and it fits the concept of the book very well. I haven’t actually changed the theme but I seem to have added my log (card) at the top, I’m not exactly sure how! Oh well, I’ll leave it here for a while. See if it brings me luck.

Lol. Yes, I noticed when I landed on your page this time I wasn’t taken directly to the post but a page with a few of your recent posts. Not sure if you know that? But it is fine, just commenting it looked different. 🙂 x

        1. Thanks, Debby. I think I change the setting for reading to recent posts rather than a fixed page. I’ll probably change again in a while, but I thought people might get bored if they always end up on the same page. Have a great week.

I think it looks fine Olga. Change can be a good thing sometimes. 🙂

          2. Oh yes, I agree. (And one never learns what the settings do otherwise ;)) Thanks, Debby. Have a fabulous Thursday.

I can’t wait for you tomread this one, Olga! Can’t eait to hear what you think. I loved it.

    1. Thanks, Christina. I’ve read it already and I agree with you. I loved it too. Very atmospheric and really compelling characters, although I’ll share the review when it’s released to make sure people can get hold of it quickly. Thanks for the introduction to such group of talented writers. 🙂

    1. Thanks, Sally. I’ll share the review later in the summer, as it is due for release in July. It is a pretty special book. Have a great Tuesday!

  3. Sounds lovely, Olga. I can’t remember this review so I am going over to read it.

    1. Thanks, Robbie. It was a while back and I still have some other books by writers I met through one of the story collections. I must try and catch up during my next holidays. Take care!

  4. Hi Olga. It sounds like a great book. I remember growing up with the song by that title. Best to Karen and hugs all around.

    1. I love the song as well, Teagan. The review is coming up in July. I’m sure it will go well for Karen.

Don't be shy! Tell me something!
