I was born in Barcelona and have lived in the UK for many years now. I'm a writer, translator (English-Spanish and vice-versa) and I'm a medical doctor and worked in Forensic Psychiatry many years. I also have a BA and a PhD in American Literature and Film, and a Masters in Criminology. I've always loved books and apart from writing them I review them often. I write a bit of everything, check my books for more information and my about page for links. My blog is bilingual, English and Spanish.

  1. Thank you Olga.

    1. Thanks, Rosie. Another good find, as usual. Happy Tuesday!

  2. ‘Feel good’ and ‘YA’ tends to make me switch off. But there is a HUGE market for this genre of fiction, so I hope it does well.
    Best wishes, Pete.

    1. Thanks, Pete. Yes, I didn’t think this would be your cup of tea either. But I’m reading a couple that I think you might be interested in. Enjoy the rest of the week.

Love the subject matter and the cover. Not really a YA reader, but curious enough to check out more at the Zon. Thanks Olga xx

    1. I don’t read YA books that often (mind you, I’ve reviewed two this week), but there was something about this one that called my attention. Enjoy the rest of the week, Debby. 🙂

Thanks Olga. You too! 🙂 x

  4. This sounds like a great book, Olga. I enjoyed your detailed review and summary of the potential parental guidelines.

    1. Yes. Not having children I never know exactly what to say, but I try to warn about some of the possibly upsetting content. I know different children are different, and I follow your line of recommending parents to check beforehand if they are concerned. I think you’d enjoy this one. Happy Sunday!
