I was born in Barcelona and have lived in the UK for many years now. I'm a writer, translator (English-Spanish and vice-versa) and I'm a medical doctor and worked in Forensic Psychiatry many years. I also have a BA and a PhD in American Literature and Film, and a Masters in Criminology. I've always loved books and apart from writing them I review them often. I write a bit of everything, check my books for more information and my about page for links. My blog is bilingual, English and Spanish.

  1. It sounds like the author is pushing the boundaries on this one. I’m intrigued. Thanks for sharing your review!

    1. That he is, for sure. This is not a book that fits easily into any category, Priscilla. Have a great week.

  2. What a great review, Olga. I wanted this book but it is impossible to get books sent to South Africa right now. It’s bad enough when there isn’t a pandemic. Maybe an ebook will become available and then I will get it. It sounds right up my alley.

    1. Thanks, Robbie. Yes, I think you’d enjoy this one as well. I’m sure it will become available in ebook format soon, but with the pandemic a lot of things have slowed down, so it probably depends on when the publishing company can get back to normal. Have a good week. ♥

    1. Thanks for the opportunity, Rosie. A fascinating reading experience, for sure.

  3. You have whetted my appetite enough for me to add this to my Amazon Wish List. If it doesn’t come out on Kindle, I might get it as a Christmas present.
    Best wishes, Pete.

  4. Just went on Amazon, and it is advertised on Kindle at £1.99. So the e-book is out.

    1. Thanks, Pete. I know I programmed the post right after it was supposed to be published, so I imagine it might be a problem with timing in different Amazon stores. Thanks, Pete. I know you enjoy unusual books, so I think this one will hit the right spot. Love to Ollie and I hope he keeps improving. ♥

You had me at psychological puzzles. I’m fascinated and running over to the Zon to add to my list. Thanks Olga. Stay safe my friend <3

    1. Thanks, Debby. Yes, this book is very difficult to pinpoint genre-wise, but I know you are not one for reading only in one genre. Things are getting a bit complicated here again, but we’re well so far. And taking care. Keep safe as well. ♥

Arg Olga. Best to just stay home – save for essentials. Just don’t forget the mask when you do. <3

        1. I have a large collection now! Thanks, Debby and take care. ♥

  6. I did love Beautiful Mind so this might be good!

    1. There’s a fair bit more action in this one, Jacqui, but you’re on the right track. Have a great weekend!

  8. This sounds like quite a ride, Olga. Very enthralling. Toni x

    1. For sure, Toni. I think it’s a book that will be fascinating for other writers. Have a wonderful week.
