#Autorclásico invitado. Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer. Poesía soy yo (y leyendas)

Posted on October 28, 2016 by OlgaNunez

#Bookreview MIRROR IMAGE by Michael Scott (@flamelauthor) and Melanie Ruth Rose. #Horror. You’ll never look at a mirror the same way again.

Posted on October 28, 2016 by OlgaNunez
Hi all: As promised, I keep trying to catch up with reviews, and as Halloween is around the corner, I realised I hadn’t yet shared this review. This is a book that although if one stops and thinks about it, it might not stand up to a close look if you go with it, it’s

Posted on October 25, 2016 by OlgaNunez

#Bookreviews NUMERO ZERO by Umberto Eco and ZERO K by Don DeLillo. Two great writers pushing boundaries #TuesdayBookBlog

Posted on October 25, 2016 by OlgaNunez
Hi all: I’m still trying to catch up with some of the reviews I haven’t posted yet, and as I was checking, it struck me that two books by two very well-known authors (one who has unfortunately left us since I read the book) had Zero in their titles, and I couldn’t resist to bring

Posted on October 21, 2016 by OlgaNunez

Posted on October 21, 2016 by OlgaNunez
Hi all: Yes, I know I said I would be sharing old posts because I’m trying to carve some time for the things I should be doing… (the other things I should be doing) but I’ve wanted to share D. G. Kaye‘s new book for a while and kept thinking that perhaps I’d do it

#RBRT Bookreview THE LADY ANNE by Gemma Lawrence (@TudorTweep) The course of true love never did run smooth #TuesdayBookBlog

Posted on October 18, 2016 by OlgaNunez
Hi all: As promised, I have a lot of reviews to share, and today I bring you the second book in a series that I’ve loved so far. The funny thing, in this case, is that, as it is a historical novel, I know how it will end, but that fact does not kill the

Posted on October 14, 2016 by OlgaNunez
Hi all: If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you might remember that a few months back I was very busy reading novels for a Historical Novel award, the MM Bennetts, and I couldn’t really talk very much about it. I received an e-mail yesterday about this year’s award and I’m going to

I am a language teacher, writer and bookworm who worked for many years as a forensic psychiatrist, and also have a Ph.D. in American Literature, and an MSc in Criminology. I started publishing my stories, in English and Spanish, in 2012 and now have over twenty books available in a variety of genres, a blog (in English and Spanish), and translate books for other authors (English-Spanish and vice versa). In 2020 obtained the CELTA certificate as a language teacher, and offer Spanish and English classes. Writers and readers both in English and Spanish are my friends, colleagues and allies, and after living in the UK for over twenty-five years, have returned home, to Barcelona, in Spain, searching for inspiration for my stories. Oh, I also love the radio (I volunteer at a local radio station, Sants 3 Ràdio) and all things owl. Do feel free to connect with me.
