I was born in Barcelona and have lived in the UK for many years now. I'm a writer, translator (English-Spanish and vice-versa) and I'm a medical doctor and worked in Forensic Psychiatry many years. I also have a BA and a PhD in American Literature and Film, and a Masters in Criminology. I've always loved books and apart from writing them I review them often. I write a bit of everything, check my books for more information and my about page for links. My blog is bilingual, English and Spanish.

  1. Olga, you make this book sound marvelous. I enjoy the kind of details you described (dress, setting, etc.), and I love well developed secondary characters. Thanks for taking time to share this with us. Hugs.

    1. Thanks, Teagan. I truly enjoyed this book. I’ve just started another one of your books. Review coming up soon (hopefully)!

      1. You are so kind. Happy Women’s Day. You are an inspiration, Olga. Hugs.

        1. Happy Women’s Day. I’m not sure I’m very inspired at the moment, but your book is helping. 🙂

          1. I know how stressful and difficult moving is. You don’t have to be inspired to be inspiring. 🙂
I know you can do it. Hugs.

  2. That sounds like great writing. One to look out for, I think.
    Best wishes, Pete.

  4. A fabulous review, Olga. Your reviews are long but they are really interesting.

    1. Thanks, Robbie. I know I should try to summarise but, personally, very short reviews don’t usually help me make a decision, although it sometimes depends on the book. Have a great day.

  5. Wow! This is some review, Olga. It makes me want to run out and grab a copy! Thank you! 😀 xx

    1. Thanks, Vashti. I read a lot of books but there are some that just hit the right spot, I guess. Good luck and happy weekend!
