I was born in Barcelona and have lived in the UK for many years now. I'm a writer, translator (English-Spanish and vice-versa) and I'm a medical doctor and worked in Forensic Psychiatry many years. I also have a BA and a PhD in American Literature and Film, and a Masters in Criminology. I've always loved books and apart from writing them I review them often. I write a bit of everything, check my books for more information and my about page for links. My blog is bilingual, English and Spanish.

Oh this sounds so interesting Olga. Thanks for the introduction, and I loved this quote. “A piece of writing is never finished. You just surrender. ” <3

    1. Thanks, Debby. It is a gorgeous little book, perfect for reading when you have a small break and the pictures are beautiful. I love black and white pictures. They’re so atmospheric! I wondered about the title but when I read the quote I thought it captured perfectly how we feel when we write. I hope you enjoy it. An author and a photographer I intend to follow from now on. Have a fantastic week!

      1. Thank you 🙂 You have a fabulous week too 🙂

  2. As you know, I always like to write short stories prompted by a single photo. It seems this book does that another way, by illustrating what is already written. It sounds like something I would really enjoy.
    Thanks, Olga.
    Best wishes, Pete.

    1. Thanks, Pete. The author does not describe her process, but as there are several images for each story, I’m sure you’re right. I am convinced you’d enjoy this book as well, Pete. It’s right up your alley.
      Have a lovely day.

      1. Just added to my Wish List. 🙂

    1. It is, and I think you’d enjoy the photos as well. Do check her website if you have a chance! ♥

        1. Thanks, Rob. It should work now. I realised I had made a mistake when I spelled the website, but it seems I failed to update the post and the link was the old one. Now it works. It’s worth checking. Have a great weekend!

          1. 🙂
