I was born in Barcelona and have lived in the UK for many years now. I'm a writer, translator (English-Spanish and vice-versa) and I'm a medical doctor and worked in Forensic Psychiatry many years. I also have a BA and a PhD in American Literature and Film, and a Masters in Criminology. I've always loved books and apart from writing them I review them often. I write a bit of everything, check my books for more information and my about page for links. My blog is bilingual, English and Spanish.

  1. I, too, enjoyed Journeys 7 and 8. The library Teagan created in the story is so bizarre and wonderful! Good review, Olga.

    1. Thanks, Priscilla. I love books featuring libraries, and you’re right, this one is wonderful. Stay well and have a great week!

      1. Me too. Regarding books on libraries.

        1. Books on libraries and bookshops, what is there not to like? Keep safe!;)

    2. I’m so glad you are part of the Journeys, Priscilla. LOL, “bizarre and wonderful” gave me a huge grin. Stay safe and well. Hugs on the wing!

  2. Fabulous reviews of Teagan’s latest journey’s, Olga. I still need to catch up on Journey’s 6, 7 and 8.

    1. Thanks, Robbie. I quite enjoy reading several without gaps in between. It builds momentum as well, and things are definitely accelerating. I’m sure you’ll enjoy them when you have a chance to catch up. Enjoy your week!

    2. Robbie I’m so glad you are part of the Journeys. The rest of them will be waiting whenever you have time. I’m thrilled with your reviews. Stay safe and well. Hugs on the wing!

  3. Superbly told. And without spoilers! I need to finish Journey 8 and am already drooling for Journey 9.

    1. Oh, thanks Pat! Journey 8 ends up at a particularly interesting point, so I can’t wait for Journey 9 either. Have a great week!

  4. Olga, your reviews mean the world to me. I’m thrilled with these two. You always bring out the things I hope readers will notice.
My blog is going through the dreaded summer slump, so I’m working to share your post far and wide. I just finished the cover for Journey 9, Doors of Attunement, which I’ll reveal on Wednesday.
Take good care of you. I hope you can get plenty of relaxation. Hugs on the wing!

    1. Thanks, Teagan. Your journeys brighten up my month, for sure. I have a busy week ahead, but I’ll be on the lookout for the cover of Journey 9. I am very intrigued by what comes next! Keep safe and big hugs!

  5. Teagan has such a unique style, she is a one-woman genre indeed. The very best of luck to her with the latest book in this series, and as she would say, “Hugs on the wing!”
    Best wishes, Pete.

    1. Thanks, Pete! You got her in one! Stay well, hugs on the wing, and enjoy the new week. (Corrected) I answered too quickly, Pete. I know it’s on the wing, but my fingers were faster than my brain.

      1. It’s ‘on the wing’, but I will take your windy hugs! 🙂

        1. Sorry! I type too fast sometimes! Corrected!

          1. I was only teasing. 🙂

          2. 😉 I quite like the windy reference, though!

          3. Me too. 🙂

          4. 🙂

    2. Haha. You are so kind, Pete. Thanks for your encouragement. Hugs winging back to you. 😀

  6. I have been enjoying the journeys since they began in January. Like you, I find myself looking forward to them each month.

    1. Thanks, Dan. I know you follow Teagan’s blog and have often collaborated with her, and are a fan of her stories. I will miss the journeys when they come to an end, but, at the same time, I can’t wait to know how she pulls everything together, as she always does so well. Stay well and enjoy the new week.

      1. Thanks Olga. I wish I could write a review as well as you do.

        1. I wish I could take good pictures and had any skills with visuals, but all reviews are special if you write them from the heart, as you do.

      2. I built a complex world for Dead of Winter, but the story reaches a complete conclusion, and I never really saw where else it might go. However, there are two backstories that I’ve always wanted to give at least a novelette’s worth of attention. So, maybe when the Journeys conclude I’ll be able to do that. The story of Zasha and Tajin offers the most storytelling, it could continue not just as a backstory of how they joined forces, but possibly new adventures. The other is barely mentioned — Gethin and the Sword of Tajín.
        Cheers!

        1. Oh, that sounds great, Teagan! I can see how Zasha and Tajin would make for a fabulous story. And I’m also intrigued about Gethin and the sword. I can imagine it as a TV series as well, so perhaps a script… Take care, and thanks for sharing your thoughts. ♥

    2. I’m happy that you are part of the Journeys, Dan. It means a lot to me.
Also thanks for your recommendation to use Firefox browser for WordPress. I just installed it. It seems to be doing the trick for the problem I was having making comments. Hugs on the wing!

      1. I hope it keeps working for you, Teagan. I am enjoying these journeys very much.

  7. Resa says:

    Very nice, Olga!
I’m on 2!!! Thank goodness she sells on Kobo!
Teagan is a wonderful writer! The new serial is coming along nicely.

    1. Yes, I know! It’s pretty wild! Thanks, Resa!

  8. What a fabulous review for Teagan’s book, Olga – she is such a good author. Toni x

    1. Isn’t she just, Toni? She always manages to surprise me with her imagination. Stay well and all the best.

    2. Toni, I’m absolutely thrilled by Olga’s reviews. Thanks so much for visiting. Stay safe and well. Hugs on the wing!

  9. The bad news is I haven’t been able to start this series yet. The good new is that when I do, I’ll have so many chapters to read! Wonderful reviews, Olga – congrats to Teagan!

    1. Haha. I love the silver lining you found, Teri. Heartfelt thanks for your support. Gosh, I’m so far behind. I’ve got to get back to work. Bond and Crystal have the good life. =^-^= Hugs on the wing!

    2. Thanks, Teri. And, having read a couple of journeys in one go, I think you are absolutely right. No waiting to know what happens next! Have a lovely weekend.
