I was born in Barcelona and have lived in the UK for many years now. I'm a writer, translator (English-Spanish and vice-versa) and I'm a medical doctor and worked in Forensic Psychiatry many years. I also have a BA and a PhD in American Literature and Film, and a Masters in Criminology. I've always loved books and apart from writing them I review them often. I write a bit of everything, check my books for more information and my about page for links. My blog is bilingual, English and Spanish.

  1. This sounds fabulous, Olga. I am going to try and squeeze this in over the holiday.

    1. Thanks, Robbie. It is a fun read and the characters are very engaging. Perfect for a holiday. I hope to keep going with the whole series. I asked the author about audiobooks, because one of the other bloggers in BookLikes mentioned something about it, but it seems to be in the hands of the publishers. It could work wonderfully but they would need to choose carefully, for sure.
      Have a fabulous week.

  2. Probably not something I would ever read. But I felt the enjoyment from your review, and the cover art is very well done.
    Best wishes, Pete.

    1. Thanks, Pete. I requested it because it sounded fun and quite different to what I had been reading recently (far less heavy) and it’s a great read. Also, as you know, I’ve written about angels and demons so I’m always curious (I think you’d find it funny, but perhaps better wait until it is made into a series. It seems it’s on its way). 🙂

  3. Thank you Olga.

    1. Thanks, Rosie. I had such fun with these books! 🙂

  4. Olga, this series sounds like a fabulous, fun, wild ride. I got a kick out of the “sheep in wolf’s clothing” quote too. What great success for Kenneth. Wishing him well. Hugs all around.

    1. Thanks, Teagan. I’m sure you’d enjoy it. I just needed something a bit lighter after quite a number of heavy books, and it fit the bill and some. Love to Crystal and enjoy the rest of the day.
