I was born in Barcelona and have lived in the UK for many years now. I'm a writer, translator (English-Spanish and vice-versa) and I'm a medical doctor and worked in Forensic Psychiatry many years. I also have a BA and a PhD in American Literature and Film, and a Masters in Criminology. I've always loved books and apart from writing them I review them often. I write a bit of everything, check my books for more information and my about page for links. My blog is bilingual, English and Spanish.

  1. My type of thing, so added to my Amazon Wish List. One small niggle though, I really don’t like the confusing title. It seems unnecessary to me to try to ‘tie-in’ any connection with Conan Doyle’s character.
But from your review, I am guessing I will enjoy the book.
    Thanks as always, Olga.
    Best wishes, Pete.

    1. Thanks, Pete. I think you will. I guess it’s an attempt at selling more books, although it seems the detective became quite well-known and popular at the time, at least for a while. If you have a chance, do check the author’s website. Fascinating stuff.
      Have a great week!
