I was born in Barcelona and have lived in the UK for many years now. I'm a writer, translator (English-Spanish and vice-versa) and I'm a medical doctor and worked in Forensic Psychiatry many years. I also have a BA and a PhD in American Literature and Film, and a Masters in Criminology. I've always loved books and apart from writing them I review them often. I write a bit of everything, check my books for more information and my about page for links. My blog is bilingual, English and Spanish.

Lovely review for Terry’s book Olga. I have 2 of her books in this series and have read others by Terry. I enjoy her writing. 😉

    1. Thanks, Debby. I have the short story book of this series still pending, and I have to get to the rest of her books as well, but I know she’s working on another dystopia, so it seems she’s enjoyed the genre. I sure have enjoyed her treatment of it! Have a lovely Tuesday!

Thanks Olga. I’ve read so many wonderful reviews for the Renova series so it only makes sense Terry would write another one. 🙂

        1. At the moment it seems she’s working on another dystopian story, although she plans a story set in one of the settlements, and it does sound like a pretty horrifying place with a fabulous villain…;)

  2. I remember how much you liked the previous books, Olga. Good luck to Terry with this new one.
    Best wishes, Pete.

    1. Thanks, Pete. It is a wonderful series, for sure. I’m covering a lecture about a topic I thought you might find interesting for the local radio this afternoon. La vaga de la Canadenca. A famous strike that took place here, in Barcelona, a hundred years ago. I’m looking forward to that.
      Have a great day!

      1. Thanks for the link, Olga. 🙂

        1. I’m looking forward to it, and I know the person who is giving the lecture, and he is very knowledgeable. Have a fabulous day!

  3. Great review, Olga. I’ve loved the series and, like you, will be very happy if there are more.

    1. Thanks, Mary. It can go in so many directions! I’m sure Terry will keep us glued to her pages for time to come. Have a great week!

I’m currently writing a book about Blackthorn, Mary – not part of the series, and a total stand alone – but some characters readers of the series will recognise! Thanks for reading this x

  4. I really enjoyed this book, Olga. Loved seeing what happened to the characters I’d spent so much time with, and I thought the time jumps were done really well.

    1. Thanks, Teri. Yes, it is very cleverly done and it works very well. I think we still have more stories to come! 😉

Many thanks again, Olga, for this lovely review – and thanks, too, to your readers for taking the time to look at this and comment. Teri, Pete, Mary and DG, much appreciated! x

    1. We’ll be here ready for the next one, Terry. ♥
