I was born in Barcelona and have lived in the UK for many years now. I'm a writer, translator (English-Spanish and vice-versa) and I'm a medical doctor and worked in Forensic Psychiatry many years. I also have a BA and a PhD in American Literature and Film, and a Masters in Criminology. I've always loved books and apart from writing them I review them often. I write a bit of everything, check my books for more information and my about page for links. My blog is bilingual, English and Spanish.

  2. Thank you Olga.

    1. Thanks, Rosie. It’s a great read. Happy Tuesday Book Blog.

  3. If I had just seen the synopsis, I would have thought it was very similar to so many on the market. However, your review makes it immediately appealing to me, and so it will be added to my Amazon list.
    Have a great break, Olga!
    Best wishes, Pete.

    1. Thanks, Pete. I think you’ll be casting the movie in your head when you read it. Thanks very much. Take care, and I hope the weather stays summery!

  4. This sounds very relevant to recent news events, Olga. Women still have a long way to go before they are accepted in male dominated positions, I’m afraid.
    Great review- enjoy your break!

A male author can define ‘abuse’ as good as a female author would. I like your review and will check out the book.
    Have a fantastic summer, Olga!
