I was born in Barcelona and have lived in the UK for many years now. I'm a writer, translator (English-Spanish and vice-versa) and I'm a medical doctor and worked in Forensic Psychiatry many years. I also have a BA and a PhD in American Literature and Film, and a Masters in Criminology. I've always loved books and apart from writing them I review them often. I write a bit of everything, check my books for more information and my about page for links. My blog is bilingual, English and Spanish.

  1. Thanks for sharing, Olga. I’m intrigued. Best wishes to Emily. Hugs!

    1. Thanks, Teagan. Emily’s books are full of atmosphere and her use of the typical language and expressions of the place reminded me of your writing. They are feel good stories, so it’s a nice break from my usual reading materials. Have a great week!

Sounds intriguing Olga. Thank you. 🙂

    1. Thanks, Debby. It’s easy to see why people enjoy this author’s series. The settings and the characters are memorable and the novels put a smile on one’s face. Enjoy the rest of the week. 🙂

That’s all a writer hopes for. 🙂 Happy week Olga x

  3. This wouldn’t be one for me, and the cover alone would ensure that. However, this cosy/romance market is huge, and I have no doubt that Emily will gain a huge following.
    Best wishes, Pete.

    1. Thanks, Pete. No, I don’t think this is one for you, although the ghost town sounded like a good setting for a movie. Enjoy the rest of the week.

  4. This sounds really good. I ran over to Netgalley but I’m too late! I love what’s coming next, especially if it required Emily to take a survivalist class!

    1. Thanks, Jacqui. I know what you mean! It would be worth following the author and getting notifications on Amazon and BookBub, as she has plenty of books and quite a few series, so I’m sure she’ll have many surprises up her sleeve yet. 🙂

  5. Another brilliant review, Olga. I liked the addition of the extract and the author interview. It is nice to learn a bit about the author.

    1. Yes, I agree, Robbie. I read one of her books last year, but I didn’t know that much about her. It’s good to get some insight into the authors whose work we are interested in. Enjoy the rest of the week. 🙂
