I was born in Barcelona and have lived in the UK for many years now. I'm a writer, translator (English-Spanish and vice-versa) and I'm a medical doctor and worked in Forensic Psychiatry many years. I also have a BA and a PhD in American Literature and Film, and a Masters in Criminology. I've always loved books and apart from writing them I review them often. I write a bit of everything, check my books for more information and my about page for links. My blog is bilingual, English and Spanish.

  4. Happy new week, Olga. Your reviews always help me know what I’m getting into with a book. Your insights prevents stumbling blocks (about style and related issues) that would interfere with enjoying a book. you have done that again. I particularly like the setting of this one. It sounds quite fascinating, but realizing in which way it would intrigue me — in advance, helps. Hugs on the wing!

    1. Thanks, Teagan. You’re very kind. It’s amazing how many real historical characters I keep discovering. I know that I know nothing, it so true, isn’t it? I look forward to visiting the Delta Pearl in a few days. Have a fantastic week!
