I was born in Barcelona and have lived in the UK for many years now. I'm a writer, translator (English-Spanish and vice-versa) and I'm a medical doctor and worked in Forensic Psychiatry many years. I also have a BA and a PhD in American Literature and Film, and a Masters in Criminology. I've always loved books and apart from writing them I review them often. I write a bit of everything, check my books for more information and my about page for links. My blog is bilingual, English and Spanish.

Thanks, Robbie. I have discovered many great authors thanks to Rosie’s group and this is one of them. Thanks for being a part of her team and happy week!

  3. The writing examples are tempting indeed. But I often think that ‘re-imagining’ classic fiction is a lot like remaking classic films. I tend to avoid both.
    Best wishes, Pete.

    1. Thanks, Pete. I know what you mean, and I feel the same about some, but I guess some stories are worth telling many times, and in some cases, a new version might inspire people to read the original, that is no mean feat these days. I hope 2020 is treating you well, Pete.
