I was born in Barcelona and have lived in the UK for many years now. I'm a writer, translator (English-Spanish and vice-versa) and I'm a medical doctor and worked in Forensic Psychiatry many years. I also have a BA and a PhD in American Literature and Film, and a Masters in Criminology. I've always loved books and apart from writing them I review them often. I write a bit of everything, check my books for more information and my about page for links. My blog is bilingual, English and Spanish.

  1. I haven’t read a Western in ages. This sounds good. I like the idea that the prose grows with the main character.

Thanks, Priscilla. The point of view is pretty different to standard Westerns. It’s well-worth a look. Take care.

  2. This sounds like a book I would really enjoy, Olga. Lots of characterisation and a good historical setting.

    1. Yes, Robbie. I think you’d love this one. Fabulous characters and the research is seamlessly incorporated into the story. See what you think. (I’m not sure if it’s available in audiobook, but I imagine it could work very well). Take care.

  3. This does indeed sound like something very different. Definitely going on my wish list, based on your fine review.
    Best wishes, Pete.

    1. Thanks, Pete. I thought about you as I read the novel. And I think it would make a fine movie as well, although the writing style is quite something! Take care, Pete. ♥
