I was born in Barcelona and have lived in the UK for many years now. I'm a writer, translator (English-Spanish and vice-versa) and I'm a medical doctor and worked in Forensic Psychiatry many years. I also have a BA and a PhD in American Literature and Film, and a Masters in Criminology. I've always loved books and apart from writing them I review them often. I write a bit of everything, check my books for more information and my about page for links. My blog is bilingual, English and Spanish.

  1. Another great review. Francine sounds like a protagonist I can cheer for.

    1. Thanks, Priscilla. Yes, she is going through a hard time but can connect to her younger self and find things to become interested in. And she does love a good mystery! Enjoy the rest of the week!

  2. Thank you Olga.

    1. Thanks, Rosie. Another fun read.

  3. A cozy mystery with a dark side sounds appealing, Olga. I like sympathetic characters and a well-crafted read. And I’m glad it ends with all the loose ends tied up. Thanks for the recommendation!

    1. Thanks, Diana. I know you’re very busy with the blog tour for your newest book (and series), so I appreciate your taking the time to comment. I am sure you don’t have a lot of time right now, but if you need a break, this book is a great choice.
      Good luck with everything. 🙂

      1. I’m planning a lot of reading when the tour is done!

        1. That sounds like a great plan. All the very best. 🙂

  5. Thanks for this review, Olga. It sounds like a great read. I liked the Nancy Drew reference in the description of the character. I hope you’ve been having a wonderful week. Hugs on the wing.

    1. Thanks, Teagan. Nancy Drew plays quite an important part in the story, actually. It’s been quite an interesting week so far, and next week promises to be even more interesting. 😉

  6. Another fabulous review, Olga. I love cozy and a little darker as well, so a good choice for me. Toni x
