I was born in Barcelona and have lived in the UK for many years now. I'm a writer, translator (English-Spanish and vice-versa) and I'm a medical doctor and worked in Forensic Psychiatry many years. I also have a BA and a PhD in American Literature and Film, and a Masters in Criminology. I've always loved books and apart from writing them I review them often. I write a bit of everything, check my books for more information and my about page for links. My blog is bilingual, English and Spanish.

  1. Great review, Olga! I agree that the Megacity elements and events relate to what’s happening in our world today. Scary. It sounds like Tyler’s series is an awesome read.

    1. Thanks, Priscilla. Yes, it makes for pretty uncomfortable reading, and so does her Renova Series. If you are into dystopia at all, I recommend both. I must check her other writing as well, though, because the reviews are good all around. Enjoy the rest of the week.

  2. Confession time from me. I have bought quite a few of Terry’s books, but have yet to read one! I get them to help promote other bloggers and writers, then there are too many on my TBR. But hopefully they will all be read one day soon.
    (Sorry, Terry.)
    Best wishes, Pete.

    1. Thanks, Pete. I am always eager to read her books (it took me a while to get started as well), but even with that, I have so many books to read that I’m always surprised by how much time it has passed since the book was published by the time I get to it, so I totally understand, and you’re very kind supporting and promoting bloggers and writers. It is greatly appreciated, as bloggers who read and promote indie authors and others’ blogs are diamonds and stars, shining true.
And you write awesome stories and share fantastic photographs and recommendations, so, what else could we ask for?
Enjoy the week and wrap up warm (it’s getting wet and cold here as well).

  3. Hi Olga, this sounds like another excellent read in this series.

    1. Thanks, Robbie. Yes, Terry never disappoints. Have a delicious week, Robbie. ♥

  4. Your remark about “too close to home” resonates, Olga. The real world feels quite dystopian.
Wow, 23 books! Congrats to Terry on that huge accomplishment, as well as concluding this series.
Olga, thanks for bringing this to us. Hugs on the wing.

    1. Thanks, Teagan. Yes. Dystopian feels like standard news some days. Have a lovely weekend and stay safe.

Fantastic review Olga. I’m so behind in books. I have a few of Terry’s and yours need pushing up. I’ve read some of Terry’s earlier books and very much enjoy her writing. Congrats to Terry on this too. <3

    1. Thanks, Debby. Well, I am also very behind and haven’t been as busy as you have. In my case, I haven’t read any of her early books, so there’s still plenty for me to catch up on as well. Stay safe and take care, Debby!

Thanks so much Olga. Going to get my ‘booster’ shot next week. Hope you had yours or getting soon. <3

        1. Thanks, Debby. Here, for the time being, they are giving the third dose to the over 60 first, and talking about children as well. My mother had hers, but it is not my turn yet, although with the changes to the virus, it sounds as if a modified vaccine might be needed. It’s never-ending and there are changes to safety measures and everything… Let’s keep our fingers crossed, at least when we are not typing! Have a lovely week!

So true Olga. I know the US is now giving boosters to all. I was lucky to get squeeked in because I got Astrazeneca – which majority of Canadians didn’t take. So happy to be in the top of the line. Happy week to you my friend. <3

          2. Yes, good job as well. Being determined works to one’s advantage. ♥

          4. ♥ Sorry, I found this in the spam bin. Go figure!

    1. Thanks, Sally. I know you also enjoy Terry’s writing, and you’ve beaten me to this one. Thanks for working so hard to support writers, bloggers, and artists, and have a fabulous weekend! ♥
