I was born in Barcelona and have lived in the UK for many years now. I'm a writer, translator (English-Spanish and vice-versa) and I'm a medical doctor and worked in Forensic Psychiatry many years. I also have a BA and a PhD in American Literature and Film, and a Masters in Criminology. I've always loved books and apart from writing them I review them often. I write a bit of everything, check my books for more information and my about page for links. My blog is bilingual, English and Spanish.

  1. It sounds adorable. I’m sure the typos will be edited by the final version. Thanks for sharing your review, Olga!

    1. Thanks, Priscilla. A lovely read, very suitable for the holiday season.

  2. Olga, this looks and sounds delightful. Just my kind of thing these days. Although I appreciate the warning about that kind of POV change. I really hate that, but if I know to expect it, that can make all the difference.
I hope you’re getting some relief with the weather. Either way, take good care of you. Hugs on the wing.

    1. Thanks, Teagan. It is a lovely story, and I didn’t find the changes in point of view too jarring, as they were very easy to follow. It’s getting hotter again, although not as bad as in other parts of the country. I hope you’re keeping cool and safe. Good luck with all your projects!

    1. Thanks, Rosie. A light and cheerful read.

  3. I am making an assumption from the cover design that this could be classified as ‘Cosy’? I could be wrong, but that genre often has similar cover art. It may not be my kind of thing at all, but there is a huge market for it and I wish Cheryl success,
    Best wishes, Pete.

    1. Yes, I guess so, Pete. It is a light and gentle read. No, I don’t think if your kind of literature, but you’re right. I think many people appreciate reading a hopeful story without any big scares or hard-hitting issues. Enjoy the rest of the week!
