I was born in Barcelona and have lived in the UK for many years now. I'm a writer, translator (English-Spanish and vice-versa) and I'm a medical doctor and worked in Forensic Psychiatry many years. I also have a BA and a PhD in American Literature and Film, and a Masters in Criminology. I've always loved books and apart from writing them I review them often. I write a bit of everything, check my books for more information and my about page for links. My blog is bilingual, English and Spanish.

  1. It will be interesting to see if Mary escapes… 🙂

    1. Well, Annette, is a sort of love-hate relationship. As you can see if you get to read Escaping Psychiatry (on offer now, just saying) she gets involved into a fair adventures whilst trying to escape…

  2. I was thoroughly engrossed in the story and was both surprised and disappointed when it ended.Very well written.

    1. Oh, David, don’t worry. There are eight chapters, so plenty more to come. Also, I’m a bit more advanced in Wattpat, so you can always get a bit more there… And that reminds me I should post a bit more there… Thanks so much, you’re very kind. (I got the corrections back so I hope to get through them by the end of the week).

  3. Fascinating! You’re such a good writer. How much of you is in your main character?

    1. Thanks Vashti. The stories evidently have not happened to me, although I guess some of the more general experiences (and things like the type of questions she asks) are more related to my professional experience. And actually, the incident in chapter 1 that she’s telling Phil about, is quite close to something that happened to me. 🙂

You’re so generous to post these chapters, Olga.
I’m home sick today (just a virus, no big deal) so maybe I can indulge in some reading time and get caught up with this prequel.
Have a terrific Tuesday. Huge hugs.

    1. Thanks so much, Teagan. I’m sorry to hear about the virus. Time to read is always good, if you feel well enough for it. I’ve shared more in Wattpad, but I’ll post everything here so you can keep reading it at your pace if you have a chance. I’ve got the corrections and I hope to have time to check them later in the week. Take care of yourself.

    1. Thanks, Sarah!

  5. I hope that this is going well, and attracting new readers, Olga. You work so tirelessly helping other writers, you deserve more recognition yourself.
    Best wishes, Pete.

Again I planned to save Chapter 2, but since I still have 2 other
chapters to catch up, I’ve finished this one too. Most intriguing, Olga. Woot woot. I can’t stop now. 😀
