I was born in Barcelona and have lived in the UK for many years now. I'm a writer, translator (English-Spanish and vice-versa) and I'm a medical doctor and worked in Forensic Psychiatry many years. I also have a BA and a PhD in American Literature and Film, and a Masters in Criminology. I've always loved books and apart from writing them I review them often. I write a bit of everything, check my books for more information and my about page for links. My blog is bilingual, English and Spanish.

Hello Olga, I am looking forward to meeting you 🙂 It’s my first book fair too so we can experience it together. I am so excited to meet authors who have been an inspiration to me and to have the opportunity to chat to readers. See you Saturday.

    1. OlgaNunez says:

Hi Sarah Jane. It’s a lovely place for sure and I’m sure we’ll have a great time. I hope the readers do too! See you then!

Yes, it is! Thanks, Violet! I’m sure I’ll have plenty to tell about it!

  5. Pete Johnson says:

I hope that the fair is a great success, and that you meet many new and interesting people. Best wishes to you, and to Christoph too. (I like the new card by the way!) Pete.

    1. OlgaNunez says:

Thanks, Pete! Have a lovely week (and I hope the weather improves for your walks with Olly).

  6. Tess says:

Sounds wonderful. Too bad I’m not in the neighborhood.

    1. OlgaNunez says:

Now, now, Tess! What’s a few international flights for you? I know how much you love to travel! Jokes apart, thanks. It’s a bank holiday weekend so I hope lots of people will come along and explore wonderful Wales. And if they decide to come by and check our fair, all the better!

  7. Teagan Geneviene says:

Dear Olga, no wonder you’re excited! I’m excited for you and Christoph and everyone else — and I can’t even go! 😀 What fun you are going to have.
Lourdes did a fabulous job on your new card. I know you love owls, and the logo fit perfectly with your name.
Congrats on all this. Mega hugs!

    1. OlgaNunez says:

Thanks, Teagan. I’m looking forward to it! I’ve now received my banner too and I hope I’ll manage to put it together too. Although I’m disastrous at taking pictures, I hope I’ll manage to take some and I’ll report back, unless we’re having so much fun that we don’t have time for it! Thanks for the comment about the card. Yes, she did a great job and we’re weirdly on the same wave length, Lourdes and I, as I was thinking the same about the O and the eyes of the owl…

  8. DGKaye says:

  10. Michelle James says:

It sounds exciting. Have a wonderful time, Olga.

    1. OlgaNunez says:

Thanks, Michelle. I’m a bit worried as I’m supposed to be driving there today and it’s snowing quite heavily, but it’s also sunny, so perhaps in a few hours it will be OK. I’ll report back. 🙂

  11. Just seen this, but so sorry to have missed it. 🙁

But luckily I now live in Crickhowell which this year — October 1st to the 9th — is holding its second literary festival, and I get to steward again! http://www.CrickLitFest.co .uk

    1. OlgaNunez says:

Thanks very much. It sounds great. I believe Christoph Fischer is going. Unfortunately, I’ll only be back in the UK towards the end of the first week of October but must put it on my list for next year. And best of luck!
