I was born in Barcelona and have lived in the UK for many years now. I'm a writer, translator (English-Spanish and vice-versa) and I'm a medical doctor and worked in Forensic Psychiatry many years. I also have a BA and a PhD in American Literature and Film, and a Masters in Criminology. I've always loved books and apart from writing them I review them often. I write a bit of everything, check my books for more information and my about page for links. My blog is bilingual, English and Spanish.

Looks like a captivating series Olga. Thanks for sharing. 🙂

  2. Good morning, Olga….’The Complicated Love’ Series sounds like three books I would really enjoy. They will go on my list of books to read…..oh how precious time is….and oh how I wish there was so much more:) Thank you once again for an excellent review and wishing you a beautiful day and week ahead. Janet:)x

    1. Thanks, Janet. You’re so right, but I find it very difficult to resist and keep adding new books to mine too. I’m sharing the review of two new books on Friday, and I think especially the first will be right down your alley. 🙂

      1. I will look forward to this:)

        1. A treat. And not very long!

  3. Not what I would read myself, but from the excerpt, the books appear to be well-written, with an easy, flowing style. I am sure that Neeny will do very well with these, as there is a flourishing market for the genre.
I wish her good luck, and huge sales!
    Best wishes, Pete.

    1. Thanks, Pete. As I was telling Janet I’m sharing a couple of reviews this Friday and I think you might find them more interesting… Have a great week.

  4. Not, alas, my cup of tea but I can see the books enchanting many.

    1. Yes. I think you might be more interested on my Friday reviews, especially the first one. I’m talking about a book by Kenneth Tynan’s daughter, Tracy, and with your background in theatre…

  5. Woo, woo – but not my favorite genre. I suspect there are a lot of romance lovers out there who will enjoy this!

    1. Thanks, Noelle. Yes. And on Friday two more reviews for lovers of very different genres.

  6. Hi Olga. I’ve already told you how impressed I am by how much you can quickly read and retain. Thanks for this very in-depth review.
    Mega hugs!

    1. This was a challenge, Teagan, but I didn’t realise I had agreed to read so many books (most people had already read one or two). These days I tend to have the books on audio if I’m doing something that allows me to pay attention to it…

  7. Hello Olga. Nice review on the series. I hope your mom is doing much better. Have a great rest of the week. <3

    1. Thanks, Vashti. Yes, she seems to be. We’re going to see the specialist on Thursday and I hope they’ll find her stable and then I’ll make plans to go back to the UK for a bit at least.

  8. Another great set of reviews. Is your mom doing alright?

    1. Thanks, Lorna. Yes, she is. We’re going to see the cardiologist tomorrow and I hope that if everything is stable I’ll be able to start planning to go back to the UK for a little while at least. 🙂

      1. Good news, Olga. I’m glad for you and her! <3

        1. Just getting ready to see the specialist today. Thanks, Lorna!

  9. Great reviews, Olga, always very thorough and well presented. Hope the books find their readers!

    1. I’m sure they will. It was an interesting experience reading them back to back. 😉

      1. Yes, I though about that 🙂 You did a fantastic job!
