I was born in Barcelona and have lived in the UK for many years now. I'm a writer, translator (English-Spanish and vice-versa) and I'm a medical doctor and worked in Forensic Psychiatry many years. I also have a BA and a PhD in American Literature and Film, and a Masters in Criminology. I've always loved books and apart from writing them I review them often. I write a bit of everything, check my books for more information and my about page for links. My blog is bilingual, English and Spanish.

  1. Sounds like an ideal companion for the adventurous traveller. Nothing like personal experience of living in a country to help you find your way.
    Best wishes,Pete.

    1. Yes, indeed. I’m very curious about his other books now. Enjoy your weekend, Pete.

  2. Sounds like a fantastic book! The longest I have lived in the same place is four years, so I understand the spirit of a traveler 🙂

    1. It must have been quite wonderful to go travelling when there weren’t that many people doing it, although I’m pretty sure it did require a lot of determination (and they were broke all the time too. But, it’s always a matter of deciding one’s priorities) 🙂
