I was born in Barcelona and have lived in the UK for many years now. I'm a writer, translator (English-Spanish and vice-versa) and I'm a medical doctor and worked in Forensic Psychiatry many years. I also have a BA and a PhD in American Literature and Film, and a Masters in Criminology. I've always loved books and apart from writing them I review them often. I write a bit of everything, check my books for more information and my about page for links. My blog is bilingual, English and Spanish.

  1. post didn’t show up here.. it says something about google verification… and yesterday, when I tried to access your posts, it would go to your site, then flash red and tell me this was a corrupt site ( or some such nonsense ) and now this, today…

    1. Sorry Annette. This post was something to do with trying to sort out the problem with Google. I’ve been trying and had the hosting company check but it seemed to do with the Google checking system. Just in case I’ve removed all the ads from my site as I have no idea what was making it come up and it showed OK in other browsers. Believe me, I had a nightmare there yesterday, between one thing and another.

  2. Yes same as Annette ..google verification and not much else…..hope nothing much wrong …my pc is doing things lately..

    1. Thanks Carol. Sorry. Whatever it was seems sorted now (this post was an attempt at sorting the problems with google and following their instructions. I wanted to make it private but suspected that might not have worked). Not sure if that was what worked. And don’t worry, it’s not your PC but I still don’t know what it was.

      1. No worries Olga ..glad your sorted now 🙂

        1. Thanks. What a Friday it was!

  3. Olga, I think this is a good sign. Even though there is nothing in the post (content), it DID allow me to get here. Crossing fingers for you. Mega hugs

    1. You should have got the next one too (or you will soon). That was the one where I was trying something Google suggests to verify a website. I’m sure it can be done in a different way, but I would have tried anything!
