I was born in Barcelona and have lived in the UK for many years now. I'm a writer, translator (English-Spanish and vice-versa) and I'm a medical doctor and worked in Forensic Psychiatry many years. I also have a BA and a PhD in American Literature and Film, and a Masters in Criminology. I've always loved books and apart from writing them I review them often. I write a bit of everything, check my books for more information and my about page for links. My blog is bilingual, English and Spanish.

Sounds fantastic. I read one of Terry’s books a few years ago and thoroughly enjoyed her writing. 🙂

    1. I have quite a few of her books in my Kindle, Debby, and I think the difficulty is going to be to choose one to get started, but this one looks pretty good. 🙂

        It does indeed! 🙂

        1. 🙂

  2. Sounds like a good one….I haven’t read any of her books, and so might just give this one a go…It will be put on my list. Hope you have a lovely weekend, wherever you are and that the magical hummers are with you….Janet. xx

    1. Thanks, Janet. From all the feedback I’ve heard, I have no doubt you’ll thoroughly enjoy it. I’m in Barcelona for a few days (it depends on appointments and things) and I hope you have an awesome weekend too!

      1. Enjoy beautiful Barcelona…hope your Mother is well. Janet:)

        1. Thanks, Janet. She’s not doing too badly, although still waiting for the second cataract operation. Be well:)

How very kind of you, Olga, and a lovely surprise this morning! Thanks also to your extensive street team for all their shares. Really appreciate this! Thanks, Deborah and Janet for your comments, too 🙂

    1. Thanks, Terry. While I’m trying to catch up with my reading (any century soon! I know you have the same problem) I like to at least share new books and hope I can help find them some readers with a bit more time. It does sound great and I hope I’ll be able to read it (or one of your others, it’s a tricky choice as all sound very good) soonish. I have my blog in Triberr and it’s a good way of discovering and cross sharing interesting posts. Have a great weekend and best of luck!

Thanks… and yes, the ever present problem! I think you’d probably like this one best of mine, as I know you like fairly dark stuff.

        1. I do, Terry, although it depends on how my mood is.

  4. Sounds ideal for a TV drama series, in addition to being a good read. Those are some rave reviews indeed!
Good luck to Terry with her new book, and in the future.
    Best wishes, Pete.

    1. Thanks, Pete. That’s what I thought too. I think we might have to start running a production company… Have a great weekend!

  5. Terry Tyler says:

Thank you, Pete, you are most kind 🙂

  6. I see that Terry is already off to a brilliant start with this book. Congrats to her. Huge hugs all around. 🙂

    1. Thanks, Teagan. Yes, she has a big following, deservedly so. Have a great weekend. I hope NaNoWriMo is going well for you. 🙂

  7. ‘Every serial killer is someone’s friend, spouse, lover or child . . .’ What a chilling line and it’s so scary because it’s true. This one reads like a winner. Good choice! Thank you! 😀 xx

    1. I thought the same too. It’s a truly scary thought. I’ve been curious about Terry’s books for a long time and this one sounds irresistible.

  8. I have read Terry’s books before as I like the genre 🙂 Great review, Olga, thank you for sharing!

    1. I thought you might. I hope everything is well with you. Thanks for sharing!

      1. This month was a nightmare, Olga. Hope 2017 is better, because it is my Zodiac year 🙂

        1. I also hope 2017 it’s better but the last few years have been very trying. Fingers crossed!

          1. A Rooster year – they say we should be dressed very well throughout the year, for success 🙂

          2. I’d better get shopping then, Inese!

          3. My thoughts exactly.

          4. 😉
