I was born in Barcelona and have lived in the UK for many years now. I'm a writer, translator (English-Spanish and vice-versa) and I'm a medical doctor and worked in Forensic Psychiatry many years. I also have a BA and a PhD in American Literature and Film, and a Masters in Criminology. I've always loved books and apart from writing them I review them often. I write a bit of everything, check my books for more information and my about page for links. My blog is bilingual, English and Spanish.

  1. “Warm and uplifting” sounds like just the thing, Olga. Happy New Year to you and yours. Huge hugs.

    1. I thought a book with bucket-list on the title sounded perfect for the new year, and it is fun. A good way to have a break from serious stuff. Have a great entry into 2017, dear Teagan.

  2. Sounds like a fun read. Thanks for the introduction <3

    1. Thanks, Christoph. It’s well written, very visual and with fun and easily recognisable characters. A fun read for those times when we need a bit of a break.

  3. As I read the description, I was thinking ‘film’, and ‘Bridget Jones’. Then I read the next paragraph, and saw that you had mentioned both. It sounds like the perfect novel for those missing another Bridget book. Good luck to Anna, I hope it does well.
Best wishes, and thanks for all your reviews during 2016. Pete.

    1. Thanks, Pete. Yes, good minds and all that… This novel is a good example of the genre, for sure. Thanks for your articles, your updates (you’ve kept me up to date with your part of the world, especially for a year when I’ve been running around a fair bit), and for your kind comments. And let’s hold on for 2017…

  4. Thanks for the review, Olga. Sounds lovely and easy to read.

    1. Thanks, Debby!

  6. What a wonderful concept for a book and I love the cover––so sweet. This is the only type of romance novel I can read. Thanks for the review! <3 xx

    1. I hope somebody picks up the movie rights, Vashti. It would be great fun too!
