I was born in Barcelona and have lived in the UK for many years now. I'm a writer, translator (English-Spanish and vice-versa) and I'm a medical doctor and worked in Forensic Psychiatry many years. I also have a BA and a PhD in American Literature and Film, and a Masters in Criminology. I've always loved books and apart from writing them I review them often. I write a bit of everything, check my books for more information and my about page for links. My blog is bilingual, English and Spanish.

Wow!!!! I’ll be sure to visit. 🙂 Thank you!

          2. 🙂

  2. Thank you Olga. I’m glad you gave me a heads-up about violence and sex. It doesn’t sound over the top in those respects. I like the title. Good luck to Wendy. Have a wonderful Wednesday. Huge hugs.

    1. Thanks, Teagan. No, it isn’t over the top and it’s a fascinating topic. I hope the next books in the series won’t take too long. Have a great Wednesday.

  3. This sounds like an excellent historical novel. Katherine is well-known for what she suffered as the wife of Henry, but the background to her life before that is rarely mentioned. I am sure that Wendy will do well with this book, and I wish her much success.
    Best wishes, Pete.

    1. Thanks, Pete. Yes, I agree. Although I knew some of the facts, there were lots of things I didn’t know, and the author manages to bring the characters and the era to life. A joy of a book.

  4. Sounds good, Olga.

    1. I thoroughly enjoyed it, Mary, and I hope I’ll get to read the rest when they come out. A fascinating set of characters and historical period.
