I was born in Barcelona and have lived in the UK for many years now. I'm a writer, translator (English-Spanish and vice-versa) and I'm a medical doctor and worked in Forensic Psychiatry many years. I also have a BA and a PhD in American Literature and Film, and a Masters in Criminology. I've always loved books and apart from writing them I review them often. I write a bit of everything, check my books for more information and my about page for links. My blog is bilingual, English and Spanish.

  1. I don’t know why this didn’t show up, Olga, but I am also sure you have posted a review of this book before. I remember the cover.
Nonetheless, it looks like an excellent entry in the genre, and I have no doubt it will find many fans.
    Best wishes, Pete.

    1. I thought so too. Oh well, perhaps WordPress search isn’t that great (I thought I might have posted in Lit World Interviews instead as I know the author was very eager to share). Well, tomorrow I haven’t shared before, I’m sure… And this one is definitely likely to be made into a movie. I’ll make sure I remove it from the reviews I haven’t shared, in case it ends up here for a third time!

  2. Olga, this really does sound fascinating. I imagine it’s hard to put the book down. If you have reviewed it on this blog, I don’t remember it. So I’m sure I wouldn’t be the only one with that “brain burp” and others will enjoy seeing it “again.” Huge hugs.

    1. Thanks, Teagan. As I was fascinated by the documents behind it, as I had never heard of the Devil’s Bible, I talked about it to several people and even mentioned it on my radio programme, so I wasn’t sure whether it had been here or not. It is a gripping story, for sure. Have a great evening (I’m on my way to the book festival tomorrow but I still have a few posts programmed but won’t be around much for over a week). Do take care.

      1. Safe journey — and have a great time!

        1. TY! I hope it goes well even if I end up exhausted. Exciting!

  3. I also love horror books, Olga, but they must be clever. This one sounds excellent. Thank you for this review.

    1. Thanks, Robbie. I found it fascinating, for sure. Have a lovely week.
