I was born in Barcelona and have lived in the UK for many years now. I'm a writer, translator (English-Spanish and vice-versa) and I'm a medical doctor and worked in Forensic Psychiatry many years. I also have a BA and a PhD in American Literature and Film, and a Masters in Criminology. I've always loved books and apart from writing them I review them often. I write a bit of everything, check my books for more information and my about page for links. My blog is bilingual, English and Spanish.

You amaze me Olga. You post almost a book a day. Are you reading a book a day? I don’t know how you do it. 🙂

    1. Some of the books are very short. The fact is that I used to only share one review per week at the most but usually read more than that and I also took a break from the blog so they’ve accumulated. I’m trying to catch up and just post as I read, but it’s proving a bit complicated…

        Lol, now I understand. 🙂

        1. 🙂

  2. I don’t have many fond memories of my own adolescence, so not sure that I want to share the thoughts of another’s. It does sound very different though, and may well be something for younger readers to identify with. I remember reading ‘Catcher In The Rye’, and thinking it could have been about my life at that time.
    Best wishes, Pete.

    1. Thanks, Pete. You’re right. That book definitely connected with a lot of people. Have a great day!

  3. This book does not sound like my cup of tea but you have written a splendid review of it. Have a wonderful time at the book festival and I hope you find lots of amazing reads to share with us.

    1. Thanks, Robbie. No doubt. And I’ll try to see if I can convince a few authors to get their books translated into English so you can all enjoy them too. 🙂

  4. Something a little different. I like the idea.
Good luck and have fun, Olga!

    1. So far I’m very tired but tomorrow is the first day, so I imagine I’ll be even more tired, although at least I won’t get up quite so early!
