I was born in Barcelona and have lived in the UK for many years now. I'm a writer, translator (English-Spanish and vice-versa) and I'm a medical doctor and worked in Forensic Psychiatry many years. I also have a BA and a PhD in American Literature and Film, and a Masters in Criminology. I've always loved books and apart from writing them I review them often. I write a bit of everything, check my books for more information and my about page for links. My blog is bilingual, English and Spanish.

  1. Olga, I have to admit that I might have glanced at this one and kept going. However, your review has intrigued me. Hmmm…
Have a great rest of the week. Hugs.

    1. Thanks, Teagan. I hope things are a bit better (love to Crystal). I’m not sure I would have picked it up myself if I didn’t know the author already (and she lives in Sheffield, very nearby where I live and I worked there for quite a few years). She has a knack for creating weird and wonderful characters. Take care.

  2. Sounds like one for us British indeed, Olga. I love the cover. That would make me pick it up.
    Best wishes, Pete.

    1. Thanks, Pete. It is very apt for British readers indeed. I haven’t checked but the cover reminds me of the one of the tractors, although this one is brighter. That’s a fabulous book too, if you haven’t come across it. 🙂

      1. I have heard of it, but never read it.

        1. Check it out if you can. I think I borrowed it from the library. Happy Wednesday
