I was born in Barcelona and have lived in the UK for many years now. I'm a writer, translator (English-Spanish and vice-versa) and I'm a medical doctor and worked in Forensic Psychiatry many years. I also have a BA and a PhD in American Literature and Film, and a Masters in Criminology. I've always loved books and apart from writing them I review them often. I write a bit of everything, check my books for more information and my about page for links. My blog is bilingual, English and Spanish.

  1. Thanks for this objective and mindful review, Olga.
The Goodreads description bothered me, even without your review. Or that is my two cents worth anyway. But everything is not for everyone, and that seems to make the world go round… Hugs

    1. Thanks, Teagan. I’ve come to the conclusion that as much as I like horror, the new generation of paranormal books with a huge touch of romance is not for me. Oh well. I have some other interesting reviews coming up though. And your new book on my Kindle, so all is good.

      1. You are so kind. 🙂
I think romance is horrifying enough. LOL. Maybe that’s why I’d rather separate it from horror!

        1. I agree! 😉

  2. Thank you Olga.

    1. Always a pleasure, Rosie. Thanks for working so hard to bring us great books and a varied offer.

  3. Not my sort of thing, demonic blood-drinkers. However, this genre has a massive following, and I am sure Michaela will find a ready audience. I wish her good luck with the new book.
    Best wishes, Pete.

    1. Thanks, Pete. You’re right. I just wasn’t the right reader. Have a good Tuesday.
