I was born in Barcelona and have lived in the UK for many years now. I'm a writer, translator (English-Spanish and vice-versa) and I'm a medical doctor and worked in Forensic Psychiatry many years. I also have a BA and a PhD in American Literature and Film, and a Masters in Criminology. I've always loved books and apart from writing them I review them often. I write a bit of everything, check my books for more information and my about page for links. My blog is bilingual, English and Spanish.

  1. This sounds more like it, Olga. If the ending is a surprise, following some serious (and non-cozy) events, then it is definitely my cup of tea.
Well done to CJ for completing this, and dog-walking 20 dogs too!
    Best wishes,Pete.

    1. Thanks, Pete. It would also make a great movie and I think you’d like it. CJ sounds great (and if she can walk 20 dogs, considering my difficulties with just three, she must have plenty of staying power). Happy week!

  2. Ooh er! This would definitely give me sleepless nights. I’ll have to wait until I’ve caught up on sleep!

    1. Thanks, Sarah. I hope you are feeling a bit better. It is a very intriguing book.

  3. Sounds good.

    1. Thanks, Mary. It is. Happy week.

  4. A fabulous review to share, Olga. Thank you! 🙂

    1. Thanks, Natalie. A great book. I’ll keep my eyes on the writer in the future.

  5. Hi Olga. Wow… the initial description of this one sounded too good to be true, so I was eager to read your review. It definitely sounds like a winner. Best to Caz with it. Have a wonderful Wednesday. Hugs!

    1. Thanks, Teagan. It’s a real page-turner. Have a great Wednesday.
